The superstars of professional Wrestling will be under the spotlight Sunday with the WWE "Royal Rumble" 2017 live streaming and televised pay-per-view. This year's edition of the event features an exciting lineup of matches, including the main attraction: a 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal with the winner getting to participate in a headline match at WrestleMania 33. Among the entrants in the match are WWE stars including Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, and The Undertaker. So what time does the WWE "Royal Rumble" 2017 start Sunday night and how can fans watch it live streaming online for free?

Here are all the latest details.

Match card preview

This year's "Royal Rumble" match card features several championships on the line, as well as the 30-man match and a few feuds. Dean Ambrose will defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz, while Charlotte defends the Raw Women's title against Bayley. Also, Cesaro and Sheamus defend their tag titles against Gallows and Anderson on the special pre-show. That pre-show, known as the "Kickoff Show," will also feature Sasha Banks battling Nia Jax, and a six women's tag team match from the "SmackDown" women's division.

The two major titles are also on the line.

In one match, John Cena attempts to recapture the WWE Heavyweight Championship from AJ Styles. In the other match, Kevin Owens defends the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns. That match will be a No Disqualification match and also features Owens' friend Chris Jericho suspended above the ring in a shark cage.

It could all lead up to some interesting scenarios for who wins the 30-man Rumble match, and who will face who in several months at "WrestleMania 33."

What time is the pay-per-view?

Sunday's main pay-per-view has an earlier start time than many other WWE PPVs. The "Rumble" is scheduled for an official start time of 7 p.m. Eastern Time.

It's available live streaming online and through select cable TV providers for customers to order. The latest WWE event is likely to run for nearly four hours.

As for when the 30-man match will take place, that could be anyone's guess. The rumors suggest based on past editions of this PPV that it could go on last with a big surprise winner, or may even start the show to get fans ready for the rest of the night's action. With 30 superstars entering at random intervals, the match could last at least an hour before a winner is actually decided.

Watch the PPV live online

WWE Network subscribers will already get to see the big pay-per-view as part of their monthly subscription. For new subscribers, a free month of WWE Network is available allowing viewers to test out the service.

That will also allow viewing of the "Royal Rumble" and the upcoming "Elimination Chamber" pay-per-view.

In addition to that, there is also the free live streaming of the "Royal Rumble Kickoff Show" which starts at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The show will be available for viewers to watch live on WWE's website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media platforms. It includes three free matches featuring the RAW tag team championship, as well as an appearance by Shawn Michaels.

The "Kickoff Show" and "Royal Rumble" will be plenty of professional wrestling packed into Sunday night. With the free options mentioned, it allows for as much as six hours of free WWE coverage from tonight's big event in San Antonio!
