Injury issues for Bangladesh

Adding salt to the wound, Bangladesh is facing issues in the batting department, as the top-order is continuously failing to find big scores.

Even after putting up a very big score of 595 in the first innings, the Bangladesh lost the Test, as they managed only 160 runs in the second innings. The swing way Bangladesh side literally failed to bat against the Kiwi pacers in the second innings, and it took the match away from them.

Mushfiqur Rahim has always been the most integral part of Bangladesh team for more than one decade, and this is for the first time since 2007 that they are entering the field without the service of this player.

In the absence of Rahim, Tamim Iqbal, Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah and Mominul Haque will lead the Bangladesh batting department.

Tthe match will be shown live on BTV, Gazi TV and Channel 09. PTV Sports and Sky Sports are telecasting the live actions in Pakistan and New Zealand respectively.

As always, Willow TV is showing the game live in the United States.

The live streaming can be watched at the official website of Channel Nine BD.

On the other hand, New Zealand is a well-settled side, and they are strong in all the departments of the gaming. Trent Boult, Neil Wagner, and Tim Southee have a crucial role to play in this match, as the surface is swing friendly.

Bangladesh playing XI

Jeet Raval who opens the innings for the side is aptly filling the gap of Martin Guptill, and in the middle order, they are strong with big names like, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls and Colin de Grandhomme.

In two other ODI matches played today, Australia defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the 3rd ODI, while India amassed a mammoth total of 381 runs against England in the 2nd ODI.
