A special tribute was paid to Kirk Douglas, a veteran of Hollywood, at the Golden Globe awards. It was for his long distinguished career, and his daughter-in-law Catherine Zeta Jones was on the stage with him. Corral” saw him as ‘Doc’ Holliday while in “Spartacus” he was in the title role. “Lonely Are the Brave” was a cowboy movie and Kirk was the cowboy Jack Burns, and “Tough Guys” was a comedy in which he was a gangster named Archie Long.
