"Days of our Lives" comings and goings reveal that two fan favorite characters are set to leave Salem in the very near future. "DOOL" fans should expect to say goodbye to both Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) this week. However, the characters are leaving Salem for very different reasons.

The end of Theo's story has come, for now

According to the latest "Days of our Lives" spoilers and news, Theo Carver will be leaving Salem on Wednesday. As many "DOOL" viewers already know, the character has recently been through a lot.

Theo was shockingly shot by his friend, police officer JJ Deveraux. JJ believed that Theo was an armed and dangerous criminal after he and Lani found him trying to break into a warehouse in order to help Kate Roberts figure out who had been sabotaging DiMera Enterprises. The injuries that Theo suffered from the gunshot lead to a major medical crisis. Theo was rushed to surgery and eventually had a stroke. Tragically, young Theo was in a coma for weeks while his father, Abe Carver, sat vigil at his bedside. However, a Christmas Day miracle saw Theo wake from his coma, later to find out that he would be paralyzed.

Theo heads to South Africa

Now, "Days Of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that Theo will be leaving Salem to head to South Africa.

Theo will be enrolled in a special program that will hopefully help his condition. This means Theo will sadly say goodbye to his girlfriend, Claire Brady, as well as his best friend, Ciara Brady, sister Lani, and father, Abe. It seems that actor Kyler Pettis is done with his "DOOL" days, but if the character ever does return, fans may expect a recast.

Sadly, Salem's teen scene is getting even smaller. Joey Johnson went to jail, Jade left town, and now only Ciara, Claire, and Tripp are left in the age group.

Chloe will be absent for awhile

Meanwhile, "Days of our Lives" viewers will also see Chloe Lane leave Salem for a short time. While the character of Chloe doesn't seem to be going anywhere, fans may notice that Nadia Bjorlin will not be seen on the NBC soap over the next few weeks.

As some fans know, Nadia recently gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, with her husband, Grant Turnbull, back in September. During that time the actress took a few weeks off, which results in Chloe's absence. However, reports reveal that Nadia wasn't gone from Salem long, and that fans will soon see her back in action on the soap opera.
