"young and the restless" spoilers for the week of January 1 reveal major drama is ahead on the CBS soap opera. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will face her worst nightmare. She will head to the club with Christian and Connor. She takes her eye off him for one second, and he vanishes. Chelsea panics and crawls on the floor looking for the tyke.

Christian vanishes

According to Soap Central, Christian's disappearance causes drama in Chelsea and Nick's (Joshua Morrow) relationship. Nick wonders whether he can trust her with his son. "Y&R" spoilers tease that Nick will blame her for his sudden disappearance.

As most mothers know, a toddler can disappear even when you are carefully watching them. "Young and the Restless" spoilers suggest that Chelsea was distracted by something. She will try to find him and call out to the kid, but he's nowhere to be found. Chelsea breaks down and calls Nick to let him know his son is missing.

"Young and the Restless" spoilers state that Nick will jump to the conclusion that someone abducted Christian. He will wonder if he will ever see his son again. This crisis will test their relationship.

Sharon finds out about Scott & Abby

At the end of Thursday's episode, Nick walked in on a hot kiss between Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway). He will waste no time running to Sharon (Sharon Case) with the details and suggests she needs to kick Scott to the curb. Sharon will want to confront them both before deciding on her relationship.

"Young and the Restless " spoilers state that Sharon will doubt Nick's claims, at first. She will find it hard to believe that Scott would betray her this way. However, after she mulls it over, she will decide that she believes her ex-husband.

Sharon will rage at Abby and ask her why she lured her boyfriend away from her. She will remind Abby that she has shared men with her niece and mother and wonder whether she has any morals left.

Abby will fire back by throwing Sharon's brief marriage to Victor (Eric Braeden) in her face. Even so, Sharon will say that Abby will regret tangling with Scott before it's all over.

"Young and the Restless" spoilers indicate that Sharon isn't done, either. When Scott comes home, she is waiting for him. He believes everything is fine until he sees her. She tells him that she knows about Abby. He immediately knows this won't end well.

Sharon rages at him and she asks why he agreed to move in with her if he was carrying on with Abby. He tries to explain everything, but she cuts him off.

Sharon picks up a pitcher and dumps something that looked like pancake batter over his head.

Cane, Lily inch closer to a reunion

"Young and the Restless" spoilers state that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will make a bold move with Lily (Christel Khalil). He will hope that it will lead to their reunion. However, he is prepared for Lily to shut him down and move on with his life.
