salman khan’s latest Bollywood action-thriller Tiger Zinda Hai was released all across India and in the United States on December 22, 2017. The movie has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who also directed Aamir Khan’s “Sultan.” “Tiger Zinda Hai” has Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Sajjad Delfrooz in the lead roles. Among other stars playing pivotal roles in the film are Paresh Rawal, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra and Girish Karnad.

The movie is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster film “Ek Tha Tiger” which had Salman playing the role of RAW agent, Avinash Singh Rathore a.k.a.

Tiger, who falls in love with Pakistani agent, Zoya (Katrina Kaif), while on a mission.

Movie review

In “Tiger Zinda Hai,” Tiger and Zoya take the helm of a mission to rescue forty Indian and Pakistani nurses who have been held hostage in Iraq by Abu Usman ( Sajjad Delfrooz) who is the leader of the Islamist terrorist organization ISC.

It is absolutely amazing to watch Salman Khan’s action sequences in the movie as well as his strong chemistry with Katrina. The actress has done complete justice to her action-packed role. It is a delight to watch Katrina perform dangerous stunt scenes in the movie. All in all, the 161 minutes long film is a perfect action-thriller Bollywood flick that is a must watch for die-hard Salman Khan fans.

Audience response

The audience’s response to the movie, “Tiger Zinda Hai,” is fantastic. Fans love Salman’s larger-than-life avatar in the film. The soulful number “Dil Diyan Galliyan” sung by Atif Aslam is already soaring the musical charts. Box office collection

The Christmas extended weekend has given a great boost to the film’s box office collection in India as well as worldwide. The movie was released across 5,700 screens all over the world- 4600 screens in India and 1100 screens in overseas. According to film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh, the spy-thriller “Tiger Zinda Hai” has minted a total of $8.55 million (Rs 54.79 cr) at the overseas box office in mere four days of release.

The movie has already touched the Rs 150-crore milestone ($22.5 million) at the Indian box office on Monday, reported Forbes. The film collected a total of 34.10 crores ($5 million) on Friday, Rs 35.30 crore ($5.3 million) on Saturday, Rs 45 crore ($6.7 million) on Sunday and Rs 36 crore ($5.4 million) on Monday.

The massive success of “Tiger Zinda Hai” comes as a gift for actor Salman Khan who turns 52 on December 27.
