The last episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" (Ep 7: "Rock the Boat") saw mother-of-three Shereé Whitfield dealing with her past and present relationships. For the first time, she sits her children down to share the domestic abuse she allegedly suffered from their father and her ex-husband Bob Whitfield. Although Shereé and Bob divorced back in 2007, her abuse was kept secret until last season. Finding closure from her painful past with Bob may have given way to a new love with a nostalgic flair. Towards the end of the episode, Shereé's life coach, Jack Daniels, pays her a visit.

Then, Shereé's phone rings, and we hear that it's an inmate at a federal prison.

Shereé Whitfield truly loves Tyrone Gilliams

“I just back from working out,” Tyrone Gilliams tells Shereé, as reported by Radar Online. “I start working out and start thinking about you."

“We dated six years ago, and we dated until he stopped calling me,” Shereé confessed later in the show, adding that Tyrone was merely trying to keep her out of trouble. As revealed by Radar Online, Gilliams had been sentenced to 120 months in prison for securities and wire fraud, hoping to be released by the end of the year. When the call was over and the 47-year-old star came back inside she was glowing. "I love him," she told her life coach, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“We are exclusive.”

Shocked to learn that Shereé's boyfriend is locked up, Jack Daniels asks what's going to happen once Gilliams gets out. Shereé smiles lovingly, describing how beautiful reuniting with her soulmate is going to be. She's not afraid to be in a relationship with a prison inmate, who may have to serve a few more years before they can be together.

Nor does she care what the other "RHOA" ladies think about Tyrone.

Tough talk with the kids

Earlier in the episode, Shereé had an emotional talk with her three children. Pushed by her life coach, she opened up to them about domestic abuse she experienced from their father, Bob Whitfield. "I just put on a happy face, but it was very toxic," Shereé described the domestic abuse to her kids, according to Too Fab.

The alleged abuse by Shereé's ex-husband had already been revealed during season 9 of "RHOA," but this was the first time Shereé had a heart-to-heart talk with her kids about it.

Some of Shereé Whitfield's Twitter fans praised her for her bravery in dealing with her difficult past, and her uncompromising commitment to Tyrone:
