Kendra Duggar is the newly-wedded wife of Joseph Duggar. The pair only got engaged in May and then got quickly married a few months later. There are already pregnancy rumors about the couple and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Kendra was pregnant, as the Duggar kids move rather quickly from marriage to having kids. With Kendra being one of the newer members of the family, a lot of people are wondering about not just her past, but also her family’s as well. Some people found some dirt on Kendra’s father. Why is Kendra’s father’s past so troubling?

Kendra Duggar’s father is Paul Caldwell and he is the pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas and it is safe to say that he has some very conservative views. For example, not only did he and his church hand out flyers asking if God loves members of the LGBT community, but he also said that homosexuality is a myth. However, Paul then came out and said that he didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings with the leaflets. A little while after that he then ran for an Arkansas State Representative position and was even endorsed by the controversial Josh Duggar before Josh's scandals came to light.

I have to say that Paul’s views on the LGBT community are quite like Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard's.

However, Dillard’s views were so extreme that it led to him being kicked off the Duggar reality television show “Counting On.” What Dillard did was bully transgender TLC star Jazz Jennings online by calling her the wrong pronoun on purpose. This is what he said online: “I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda.” However, this wasn't the first time Dillard attacked Jennings online as he said in August that: "Transgender is a myth as gender is not fluid, but ordained by God."

What is the Caldwell family up to these days?

The Caldwell family is friends with the Duggar family, and they have even appeared on episodes of “Counting On.” Recently, the Caldwell family was in the news as they took a very mysterious family photo.

In the family photo, Kendra's mother was in front of Kendra so you couldn’t see her stomach. This led to people to think that Kendra’s mother was trying to hide the newest member of the Duggar family’s stomach so the viewers couldn’t tell if she had a baby bump.
