Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans aren't in a good place. After the controversial mother of three sent a letter of Cease and Desist to Lowry, she proceeded to post shocking articles about Lowry and the rest of the cast of "Teen Mom 2," and in one particular article, the paternity of Lowry's third child, five-month-old Lux Russell, was pulled into question.

A short time after Kailyn Lowry saw the post herself, she fired back at Jenelle Evans on Twitter and reprimanded her co-star for attempting to scare her with her letter of cease and desist. Evans, however, never responded.

Instead, she has stayed silent in regard to the issue on both Instagram and Twitter.

Will Kailyn Lowry receive an apology?

On December 28, a source close to Kailyn Lowry spoke to Radar Online, revealing that after the shocking incident played out on social media, Jenelle Evans failed to respond to Lowry and refused to apologize to her publicly or in private. As for Lowry's own plans for her co-star, the insider said that the reality star is not planning to send Evans a cease and desist letter of her own.

While many hoped to see Evans quit posting outlandish articles about her "Teen Mom 2" co-stars, she doesn't appear to have any plans to do so. In fact, she has continued to share article after article about her co-stars, including Briana DeJesus and Chelsea Houska, despite having sent letters of cease and desist to the women with the hope of having them stop talking about her.

Jenelle Evans claims the 'Teen Mom 2' cast is costing her money

In a report shared by Radar Online several weeks ago, it was revealed that Jenelle Evans and David Eason's letter claimed their future finances were allegedly in jeopardy due to the things that their co-stars, including Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska, had said about them.

The letter also threatened the other cast members with a future lawsuit. "We will seek monetary damages, civil injunctions, and the recovery of all attorney’s fees and costs incurred as a result,” the letter concluded.

Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska have both been extremely amused by their co-stars' letter and taken to their Twitter pages to laugh about the ordeal.

Houska's father, Randy, has also gotten in on the action.

For more of Kailyn Lowry and her co-stars, including the controversial Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska, and Briana DeJesus, tune in to the upcoming season of "Teen Mom 2," which is expected to premiere on MTV sometime next year.
