This February, prepare yourself to be taken on the ride of your life with three unforgettable mothers who are in dire need of a vacation. No, I'm not talking about a concept for the latest "Bad Moms" iteration. I'm referring to NBC's hot-off-the-presses new freshman series "#Good Girls." The dramedy is set to begin airing in late February starring #Mae Whitman ("Parenthood," "The DUFF"), Retta ("Parks & Recreation," "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce") and Christina Hendricks ("Mad Men," "Drive"). A report by TV Line relays a lot of the facts in this article.

The trio portrays down-on-their-luck moms who are driven to the brink by similar circumstances that seem out of control.

Whitman's Annie is on the verge of losing custody of her son, Retta's Ruby is struggling to provide the necessary funds to provide for costly medical treatments for her ailing daughter, and Hendricks' Beth is locked in a loveless marriage with a foreclosure hovering on the horizon.

NBC's 'Good Girls' will exceed your expectations

Whether you're familiar with the actresses who portray the women of "Good Girls" or not, here are just a few predictions as to why the show will be an instant hit in your house - for men and women alike.

When it comes to the really hard lessons in life, the ones we try with all our might to ignore until we no longer have a choice in the matter, it's best to mix it with a little humor and a lot of bad behavior. Some of the best shows on television excel at this mixture and from the trailer alone, "Good Girls" will knock it out of the water. Retta's portrayal as Ruby will give you all the feels as she struggles to protect her daughter from an illness that threatens to drain her life away. You'll want to stock up on tissues, folks. I'm not kidding!

Why I think you're going to want to watch 'Good Girls'

As if you needed more convincing than Mae Whitman's name in the credits in a starring role (the girl is an acting powerhouse for gosh sake!!), we've got a few other reasons that might catch your interest.

The peacock network has garnered global attention recently with its daring story-lines on "This Is Us," and truly seems to be hitting its stride in the latter half of the decade. Adding to its already-working equation, an all-female-led ensemble like "Good Girls" will surely take the network to new heights.

As with all great NBC shows, the characters will be put through the ringer. While each mom deals with her own drama independently, (#thestruggleisreal) the group inadvertently find themselves drawn to each other in order to find a solution: robbing a grocery store. C'mon, like you have never thought about it? After pulling off the heist of a lifetime, will the trio escape unscathed? #spoileralert no. According to Michael Ausiello - founder of tvline.com - one of the women gets ID'd and the rest is history!

But if there's one thing you can count on when a mother is backed into a corner, it's that she will fight tooth and nail to get out of there alive. And that, my friends, will make for #mustseetv.

"Good Girls" premieres Monday, Feb. 26 at 10 PM, following the premiere of "The Voice." Will you be tuning in? Check out the trailer below courtesy of the official "Good Girls" YouTube page.
