The old adage of "Different strokes for different folks" seems to apply when it comes to the perspectives that Dule Hill and Ed Sheehan have regarding the upcoming nuptials between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Hill stated on the "Steve" show that he is most definitely not expecting his "Suits" co-star to send him a wedding invitation. Sheeran, on the other hand, not only desires to attend the royal event but he also would love to play his music for the Windsor family. Sometime between now and May, both men will know without a doubt, whether or not their names made the royal guest list.

Dule Hill is not waiting around for Meghan Markle

Dule Hill and James Roday made an appearance on the "Steve" show on Thursday, December 7, to promote "Psych the Movie," which aired later that night. Steve Harvey asked Hill if he thought his "Suits" co-star Meghan Markle would send him an invitation to her be in attendance at her nuptials to Prince Harry in May. Hill portrays Alex on the hit USA series and Markle plays Rachel.

Harvey asked Dule Hill at least three times if he was expecting an invite to the royal wedding. And thrice the actor's reply was always the same. He said that he most definitely was not expecting his castmate to invite him to her wedding ceremony. From that point on, the talk show host engaged Hill and Roday regarding "Psych the Movie."

According to "People Royals" Grammy-winning singer Ed Sheeran has a different attitude toward the upcoming marriage of Prince Harry. When asked if he had been invited to perform at the royal wedding, Sheeran replied that he had not. When asked if he would go to London upon a request his answer was, "Yeah, why not?" He even said he would be honored to perform for the first dance by the royal newlyweds.

On Thursday, Sheeran was honored for his music and charitable contributions with an MBE, which indicates that he is a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. It was at this time that he told reporters he had not yet been asked to sing for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's special day. The crooner does, however, have some prior experience as a wedding singer to his credit.

In 2015 he crashed the wedding of Kya and Matt Debono in Sydney, and sang his hit song "Thinking Out Loud."

There are five months before May and anything is possible. Meghan and her prince could decide to have Ed Sheeran sing on their wedding day and there is always the chance that Dule Hill may be pleasantly surprised and find that special invitation in his mailbox. Both men might find themselves in attendance at the royal wedding, or not. Time will tell all.
