"Teen Mom OG" star Amber Portwood is pregnant with her second child. The MTV mom announced the big baby news earlier this month, and was met with both support and criticism by fans. Amber, who is expecting baby number two with her boyfriend of four months, Andrew Glennon says she was nervous to tell her family about the pregnancy, but they're said to be thrilled that she never had a baby with her ex-boyfriend, Matt Baier.

Portwood's family is happy she never had a child with Baier

According to a Nov. 10 report by Radar Online, Amber Portwood's family is "relieved" that Amber never had a child with Matt Baier.

An insider close to Portwood reveals that her family was "never comfortable" with her dating Baier, and that they always believed there was something "fishy" about the relationship. As many "Teen Mom OG" fans know, Amber and Matt dated for years, but their relationship was rocky. Matt was caught lying about the number of children he had and was accused of cheating on Portwood and using her for her money. However, the last straw came when Matt offered to give Amber's "TMOG" co-star, Catelynn Lowell a Xanax during filming when she mentioned that she had been feeling anxious.

Leah's going to be a big sister

Amber Portwood and Matt Baier ended their relationship, but then decided to head to "Marriage Boot Camp" where they agreed to work on their issues.

However, Amber met Andrew Glennon, a member of the crew, and left Matt in the dust. The "Teen Mom OG" star is now dating Glennon, and the two are preparing to welcome their first child together. The baby will join Amber's oldest child, daughter Leah, whom she she shares with ex-boyfriend, Gary Shirley.

Amber ditched her medication

Since announcing her pregnancy, Amber Portwood has been dishing details about carrying her second child. The "Teen Mom" says that the pregnancy was not planned, but that she is very excited to welcome the addition to her family. In the past, Amber revealed that she never thought she would have another child after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.

Portwood claimed that a pregnancy would be too risky due to the medication she had to take for her mental issues. However, before getting pregnant, Amber ditched the drugs in hopes that she would feel better with her rocky relationship out of her life, and she did. Portwood claims that she now feels happier than ever and that she is less depressed than she used to be.
