Thomas Wayne's role

Geoff Johns told Entertainment Weekly in a seperate interview that Batman will play a cruscial role in the events of the "Flashpoint" movie. In the comic book storyline, this version of the Dark Knight is Doctor Thomas Wayne, who witnessed the death of his son, Bruce, in Crime Alley. His methods for crime fighting are more brutal than Bruce and he does not hesitate to use guns or murder criminals to protect Gotham city.

Thomas teams-up with Barry Allen in order to change the DC universe back to normal and find the culprit responsible for this. They also have to deal with the war between Atlanteans and Amazons as their conflict will cause the end of the world.
