The last episode showed fans which universes can actually benefit from the use of the Pothala earrings, and which don’t. As far as we could see, Universes 3 and 4 don’t need the use of the Pothala or any other form of fusion. Universe 2 had its pair of earrings destroyed by Kefla, and Universes 6, 7, and 11 are the ones left with the chance to use the trinkets.

Universe 7 using the Pothala fusion?

This is the idea that Beerus initially supported after the Supreme Kai proposed it in episode 115, but after realizing that what may be earned in power is lost in the number of warriors, he ended up discarding the thought.

Yet it is still an option to consider should the situation grow dire. It was not a bad idea to allow the fusion between Androids 17 and 18, or even fathom the thought of seeing Vegito once more.

What is Universe 2 planning?

Why is Quitela so relaxed at this stage of the tournament? Why is he not considering the possibility of using the Pothala earrings? Is the presence of the two camouflaged insects Damon and Gamisarasu what keeps him calm? Are these two warriors really that powerful and/or resourceful? We will surely have to come back to this issue in the future.

The fusion of the three robots

As was mentioned before, the three green robots seem to be capable of complementing each other just fine.

As the Supreme Kai from Universe 3 said, it is quite complex to explain but the truth is that they don’t need to use the Pothala earrings, as it would seem that the three robots have the ability to merge through mechanical features.

Dyspo and Toppo’s fusion?

The only weird thing about episode 115 is that Universe 11 didn’t even consider the option of using the Pothala fusion.

In fact, it seems to be very unlikely that they will use such a resource at all since the three warriors are among the strongest in the arena. Yet there is still a chance to see Dyspo and Toppo merging into one warrior thanks to the Pothala magic.
