As another week comes to a close, more controversy continues to follow Donald Trump and the Republican Party. While many have had an opinion on the news of the week, comedian Bill Maher made sure to sound off on the latest episode of "Real Time."

Maher on Trump

Over the last week, one of the biggest stories to dominate the news cycle involved the sexual misconduct allegations against Roy Moore, the Republican senate candidate in Alabama. According to a report by the Washington Post, Moore allegedly attempted to engage in sexual activity with multiple underage females, dating back to as far as 1979, with the youngest claiming to be only 14-years-old at the time.

In response, Donald Trump said that Moore should step down if the allegations are true, but warned against false claims. In addition to the Moore scandal, the president left the states last week to take part in a 12-day foreign trip to Asia, where he has made stops in South Korea, Japan, China, and Vietnam. Commenting on these issues was Bill Maher, who did so during the November 10 edition of "Real Time" on HBO.

Kicking off the show with his routine opening monologue, Bill Maher wasted no time getting to the hot topics of the week. "Welcome to another addition of 'Who pulled out their d*ck this week,'" Maher said, in reference to the growing sexual scandals surrounding Hollywood celebrities and politicians, most notably Roy Moore.

"So ironic, Trump is in China because here in America it's the year of the dog," he continued.

"Judge Roy Moore...it turns out that when he was in his 30s and was district attorney, he got with a 14-year-old, this was the allegation" Bill Maher said.

"So top Republicans are now speaking out...against the women," Maher pointed out. "Sean Hannity had to apologize for saying it was consensual, and then had to explain to the other guys at Fox News what consensual means," he noted to the laughter of the crowd.

Bill Maher then targeted Alabama State Auditor Jim Zeigler for using the Bible story of Joseph and Mary to defend Roy Moore.

"Using Jesus to justify child molestation? Even the Catholics were like 'tried it, it doesn't work,'" Maher said. "I have to defend my tribe here, liberals vs conservatives," the comedian stated. "No liberal defended Harvey Weinstein or Kevin Spacey," he continued. "Compare that to Donald Trump and Roy Moore," Maher said, while adding, "One difference between Democrats and Republicans: We arrest our alleged rapists, they elect them."

Maher doubles down

"There's a pig in the White House. He was in Japan this week and they took him to a sushi place and they asked him if he wanted some yellow tail, and he said, 'sure what's her name,'" Bill Maher continued. Maher moved forward with his mocking of Trump over the foreign trip, before celebrating Tuesday's election results were the Democrats came out on top over many Republicans.
