There is still a long wait for "Vikings" Season 5, which is scheduled to air on History at the end of November. However, fans are already concerned about the fate of Lagertha now that The Seer has revealed she will be killed by one of Ragnar Lothbrok's son. Luckily, Katheryn Winnick has confirmed that the Queen of Kattegat will meet her end in the upcoming season.

The series has already established Lagertha as a strong woman who isn't afraid to pursue her ambitions. On the other hand, the former shieldmaiden also believes that her death has already been decided by the gods and is ready to accept.

With that in mind, fans are worried that Lagertha will be murdered by Ivar the Boneless in "Vikings" Season 5. But it looks like Katheryn Winnick has revealed her character's fate in the fifth season.

Katheryn Winnick posts a spoiler

It has been confirmed that production for "Vikings" Season 6 has already started. Alex Høgh Andersen, who plays Ivar the Boneless, has already posted a video of himself doing knife tricks in his costume. Like her co-star, Winnick has tweeted a picture from the set of the series.

The Twitter photo seems to show Lagertha patiently waiting as the crew sets up the scene for filming.

Although it is an innocent image, fans immediately celebrated the return of the Queen of Kattegat. After all, if Winnick is shooting for the sixth season, that would mean Earl Ingstad will not be killed in "Vikings" Season 5.

There is little doubt that Lagertha will survive the bloody civil war that will pit Ragnar Lothbrok's sons against each other.

But who else will join her in the sixth season? There are speculations that Bjorn Ironside's story is not yet done. In addition to that, Floki is expected to live a long yet different life in "Vikings" Season 6.

Floki finds himself and other gods

In the finale of the fourth season, Floki lost his beloved Helga and decided he would go on a journey on his own.

The trailer for "Vikings" Season 5 reveals that Ragnar Lothbrok's friend will find a strange new world where he could discover himself and his true purpose. It is possible that Floki will see that there are other gods that deserve respect.

But is it possible that death is coming for Floki? There are speculations that his decision to kill Athelstan in the third season will come back to haunt him in Season 5.

The sixth season of the History show is currently in production. "Vikings" Season 5 will premiere on November 29.
