The latest updates and spoilers for "The Flash" Season 4 will feature the live-action debuts of Danny Trejo's Breacher and Hartley Sawyer's Elongated Man in Episode 4's plot.
Breacher is Gypsy's father from Earth 19, and he is part of a subplot involving his daughter's relationship with Cisco Ramon a.k.a. Vibe. Elongated Man in the show will be Barry Allen's childhood nemesis.
There are also new details regarding "Smallville" star Tom Welling's possible role in the "Crisis on Earth X" crossover.
Episode 4 plot
According to the episode 4 synopsis, Breacher will visit Earth 1 after learning that his daughter, Gypsy is dating Cisco.
The latter has a strong dislike for Cisco as he does not approve of their relationship, and he tries to hunt him down. Meanwhile, Barry Allen runs into his childhood nemesis, Ralph Dibny (Elongated Man).
Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly in a previous interview that Breacher's storyline with Cisco and Gypsy will provide the joy and comedy of the show. He explained that Cisco will have a hard time getting Breacher's approval as the latter does not think highly of him.
As for Elongated Man, Kreisberg stated in a separate interview that he and Barry will not see eye-to-eye when it comes to doing the "right thing." Ralph will not be as heroic in the show as he is in the DC comics, and his perception of justice will challenge The Flash's resolve.
The showrunner described Ralph as "brash and load," and his powers is one of the biggest mysteries in the season.
Tom Welling as Superman of Earth X?
It seems that new details about Tom Welling's role in the "Arrowverse" have been revealed as Screenrant theorized that the "Lucifer" actor will play the Nazi version of Superman from Earth X.
There is a version of the Man of Steel in the comics that ruled over Gerechtkeitliga, and he is a founding member of the Justice League Axis.

Welling is famous for playing the teenaged Clark Kent in "Smallville," and he announced that he is open for an opportunity to work with the cast and crew of the "Arrowverse" TV shows.
"Crisis on Earth X" will feature the DC TV heroes working together to fight the Earth X Nazis with the help of the Ray and his Freedom Fighters.
The crossover will take place during Barry Allen and Iris West's wedding day, and co-producer Wendy Mericle stated that the story will center around Oliver Queen.
