In this week's "Superstore" season 3 episode titled "Brett is Dead," the entire Cloud 9 family gathered outside to honor Brett Kobashigawa, who was presumed dead after the hurricane hit the store last season finale. Sandra gave a rendition of Radiohead's "Creep" on the ukulele, with no context at all, and also because that was the only song she knew. Glenn was insistent that his death was unconfirmed because there was no body found. When Cheyenne questioned why they didn't know about Brett's supposed death sooner, Amy chimed in that someone was clocking in as Brett.

The sadness throughout the episode was cut short when Brett did make a sudden appearance as Dina was walking away from the staff meeting.

Brett isn't dead

Much to the relief of "Superstore" season 3 fans, Brett did not perish in the hurricane that tore down Cloud 9 and caused Amy and Jonah to finally kiss. Speaking of Amy and Jonah, this week's episode shows them interacting as they normally would, without the awkward post-kiss moments, since they already talked it over during the premiere. Now that Amy's divorce is out in the open (even Cheyenne knows about it), it seems that both Amy and Jonah know their places in each other's lives and aren't quick to jump the gun and date each other.

Dina has PTSD

In this week's episode of "Superstore" season 3, viewers saw Dina struggle to deal with the trauma of the hurricane. During what looked like a lengthy talk with Amy, she shared that she is an avid supporter of Tonya Harding. It's unsurprising that viewers are already getting to know more of the characters in Cloud 9, as both Ben Feldman and Lauren Ash admitted in recent interviews that they are looking forward to tell more of their character's back stories.

Speaking of back stories, Amy also admitted that "With Adam gone, I'm all alone for the first time, and I'm terrified."

Will Amy find a friend in Jonah?

During last season's finale, Amy thanked Jonah for being there for her during the hurricane. It would be interesting to see what kind of relationship they will have moving forward now that they've kissed.

According to SpoilerTV, the next episode will see Amy asking Jonah for parenting advice, which may be odd given that Jonah isn't a father, but seems like a well learned person with his college degree background. Elsewhere in the store, Garett and Dina argue about their breakup, while Mateo will find that he's blinded by his crush on a construction worker. "Superstore" season 3 airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
