It looks like the Taiwanese and Japanese versions of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi are giving a number of clues about what will really happen in the much-awaited movie. The official Star Wars Japanese website shared its new character descriptions and some of the details revealed are new.

The Taiwanese subtitle of “Episode 8” trailer indicate who Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) is talking to. There are theories that the second official teaser is trying to trick the viewers, so it will be hard for some to predict its story. Nevertheless, it seems that these other versions reveal what will truly transpire.

The Taiwanese subtitle

In the opening trailer of "Star Wars The Last Jedi," Supreme Leader Snoke can be heard talking to someone, but it is not revealed who he is talking to.

"When I found you, I saw raw untamed power. And beyond that, something special,” he said in the teaser. After that, the scene is cut between Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Thus, fans are confused about whether he is talking to Rey or Kylo.

As some believe that the First Order’s leader is talking to Kylo, the Taiwan subtitle of the footage discarded this assumption, as was posted on Reddit. The translation revealed that Snoke is actually using a “female-gendered pronoun.” Thus, there is a strong possibility that he is talking to Rey.

When the villain said the word “you,” the subtitle used the feminine translation of it. However, this might be just Disney’s tactic to trick the movie’s fans. The other translations and languages of the movie franchise have been wrong in predicting what will really happen in the movie several times.

In fact, the other versions of the “Episode 8” poster hinted that there will be a number of Jedi in the coming film.

But in an interview with the director Rian Johnson, he emphasized that there is only one Jedi and it would be none other than Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Digital Spy reported.
