shannon beador reached a “turning point” in her life during Monday night's new episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and decided that she was no longer going to allow the stressful moments of her marriage to David Beador impact her personal happiness. According to a recap of the show shared by People magazine on October 16, Beador's "Ah ha" moment took place during a conversation with her longtime co-star and friend, Tamra Judge.

“Either the relationship is going to improve, or the relationship isn’t," Beador explained to Judge. "I cannot let it affect my happiness.” According to Beador, she was having issues with her husband but she didn't want to throw a pity party for herself, nor did she want to portray herself as a victim.

Still, she added, she was feeling sad and detached from her husband, which led her to think of his affair much more.

David Beador enjoyed months-long affair years ago

After Shannon Beador signed on to appear on "RHOC" during its ninth season, she and David returned to the show and revealed that David was involved with another woman during several months of their marriage. The couple then attended therapy and ultimately chose to remain married.

Following Beador's reconciliation with her husband, the couple renewed their wedding vows during an episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" Season 11 but unfortunately, their marriage has seemingly gone downhill in the months since. As Beador stated, she is sad a lot and feels completely devastated about the status of her marriage.

"We’re just roommates,” she told Judge.

Shannon Beador has faced weight struggles in recent months

During an episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" earlier this month, Shannon Beador opened up about her weight struggles and how they've impacted her marriage. As she explained to her mother, she feels "s***ty" about herself and when she looks in the mirror, she hardly recognizes the woman looking back at her.

"I know that David is just disgusted with the whole thing," she admitted, adding that she doesn't like what she sees.
