Fans will have to wait for another month for the premiere of “Shameless” Season 8. The newly released promotional video for the Showtime’s comedy-drama series shows how the Gallagher family members are again getting into trouble gradually. In the meantime, it is also surprising for the Gallagher clan to see how Frank Gallagher (William H Macy), one of the lead characters, is bringing change in the way of leading life. Is Frank really a changed character?
Plenty of speculations suggested that Frank would be depicted as a changed person in “Shameless” Season 8.
He would realize how his alcoholism has affected his family. But unfortunately, his realization has come after the death of his wife, Monica Gallagher (Chloe Webb) in the previous season.
Recent “Shameless” Season 8 spoilers suggest that the relationship between Frank and Gallagher children will develop due to his change in the way of leading life. He also may be apologetic to his kids for his past mistakes. In a recent media conversation, William H Macy revealed that his much-controversial character might be seen giving all his endeavors to persuade his kids to see his present (changed) look. Now the viewers will have to wait to see how their relationship takes a new shape in the upcoming season.
On the other hand, the newly released promotional video shows Frank gaining interest in the Buddhist way of meditation. He is seen visiting a Buddhist monastery, dressed as a monk and practicing mindfulness meditation. He further talks about acceptance, resurrection, and enlightenment with the Gallagher kids.
Gallagher family is in trouble
In the upcoming episodes, the Gallagher clan will be forced to deal with their crystal meth inheritance from Frank’s dead wife, Monica. As already said, while Frank is keeping himself busy in meditation to smoke his past, his children plan to sell and invest their share of the meth.
Everyone knew that Monica had left a huge quantity of crystal meth in a storage locker.
Fiona (Emmy Rossum), the eldest daughter of the Gallagher clan, contemplates taking action when it is discovered that the meth was not really Monica’s to give away, as reported by TV Guide. She already cleared herself from her share by burying her mother with it, but her (Monica’s) ex is all set to acquire the rest of the meth. This gives a hint that the clan will be forced to dig up buried Monica’s corpse to get the remaining bags and return to her ex to stop him anyhow from coming after them.
“Shameless” Season 8 will premiere on November 5, 2017 on the Showtime.
