Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have more reasons to freak out following the news that the pair has rekindled their friendship. TODAY reported that Gomez underwent a Kidney Transplant earlier this year as a result of her lupus condition.

The 25-year-old singer revealed via Instagram that her kidney donor was none other than her friend, Francia Raisa. Following Gomez's health struggles, Bieber got back in touch with her ex. According to ELLE, Bieber said in 2015 that "I'm never going to stop loving her I'm never going to stop checking in on her." Despite some arguments here and there, it seems that the two are now on good terms.

TMZ reported earlier this week that Bieber was spotted heading over to Gomez's house to hang out with her and their common friends. But the meeting may also be about business.

Gomez to record new collaboration?

Now that Selena Gomez is recovering well from her kidney transplant, it seems she's ready to get back to the music, with a little help from her ex, Justin Bieber. According to Hollywood Life, a source close to the two shared that the ex-lovers "always talked about collaborating." To this day, the pair has not collaborated on any musical projects. However, it seems that this is about to change. According to the source, Gomez still has a few "song fragments...from when they would write together.

here is one she really wants to develop and record."

How does The Weeknd feel about a #Jelena collaboration?

While a Selena Gomez-Justin Bieber collaboration may sound like a perfectly good idea, there may be someone who would be opposed to it. Gomez's current boyfriend, The Weeknd may not be into the idea of letting Gomez collaborate with Bieber.

In fact, the source told Hollywood Life that The Weeknd would just "prefer her to just leave it in the past." Sounds like someone is jealous in more ways than one. All things considered, if Gomez would choose someone to collaborate with, it should be first and foremost with her current boyfriend. After all, she isn't a stranger to collaborating with beaus, as she recorded "I Want You to Know" in 2015 with Zedd, with whom Gomez had a short relationship with.
