You can wield all the cosmic powers the universe has to offer, but your supernatural prowess will never mean anything if you can’t share it with your BFF (of BF, for that matter). At least that’s what Sabrina seems to think.

Far from the world of Melissa Joan Hart’s ’90’s comedic misadventures lies another world, flecked with darkness and anchored by painful mortality. This is the world of Greendale, a place where the occult and witchcraft entwine with high school and boyfriends, now home to The CW’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”

Viewers won’t get to dive into “Riverdale’s” companion series until fall 2018, but writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is one to take pity on eager fans.

The writer, who also penned the comic book series of the same name, dropped a premiere teaser via Twitter.

First ‘Sabrina’ scene revealed

That teaser happened to be the entire first page of the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” pilot script. While Aguirre-Sacasa was careful to keep the text blurry, TV Line’s eagle eyes managed to pull a little text from the pixilated noise.

Introducing viewers to Sabrina and the “hunky” Harvey, the series’ opener won’t keep Ms. Spellman’s secret life a mystery for long.

“I… wanted you to see where I was born, Harvey,” the budding witch tells her boyfriend. “Not in Greendale General, like it says on my birth certificate. Here. In this grove of trees. Almost sixteen years ago."

As the lead goes on to explain, the advent of her sixteen birthday will result in her being reborn in a copse of trees, not so different from the one they're standing in.

After keeping her family history a secret for so long, why will Sabrina decide to share her origin story now? As it turns out, her little occult shindig coincides with Rosalind’s Halloween party. You need a convincing excuse whenever you skip out on a small town's teenage nightlife, but as far as Harvey is concerned, this little tale is as far from plausible as one can get.

Will ‘Riverdale’ cross with ‘Sabrina’?

Capitalizing on Greg Berlanti’s “Riverdale” success, The CW will dive further into the Archie Comics world with the “Chilling Adventures of Sabina.” While the latter is being touted as a “companion series” rather than a spinoff, fans are still hoping the murderous intrigue of one small town will spill over into the supernatural of the other.

The Sweetwater River isn't just a convenient dumping ground for homicidal fathers – it’s also the dividing line between Riverdale and Greendale.

As much as Berlanti’s Arrowverse enjoys its four-way crossovers, merging Archie and Sabrina’s worlds would pose just as many problems as sending the “Supernatural” Winchester bros. to “Arrow’s” Star City. Everything that exists in one universe would automatically have to exist in the other. Does “Riverdale” really need a dose of magic? Does “Sabrina” need to become mired in a sticky mess of maple syrup, cocaine, and Southside Serpents?
