It looks like someone is about to say goodbye in the coming Peaky BlindersSeason 4. In a new teaser video shared on Tom Hardy fans’ Twitter page, it hinted that the actor’s character, Alfie Solomons, might be dead.

It has been known that Alfie and Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) had a big disagreement in the previous season. Tommy pointed a gun at Alfie’s head and told him that he had crossed the line by letting his kid, Charles Shelby (Wil Marwood), be kidnapped. Did Tommy kill Alfie?

Alfie’s fate in the new season

"The killing of Alfie Solomons is not going to help," someone can be heard saying in the new 30-second teaser for “Peaky Blinders” Season 4.

The words “friend or foe?” then flashed on the screen. The voice then said that Alfie’s death will be “very bad for business.”

Tom Hardy’s character has betrayed the Shelby family too many times, so it is not surprising if Tommy has enough of him. In fact, his death will even be a big advantage for Tommy and his brothers.

If Alfie really died, then Adrien Brody's coming as the new big bad now makes sense. The 44-year-old actor’s character's name is not yet revealed, but he is said to be the leader of an Italian gang in Birmingham. Just like the others, he also wants the Shelby family out of their way, and they will do everything to take their place.

Other hints in the trailer

Aside from Alfie Solomons' death, there are other hints in the “Peaky Blinders” Season 4’s short teaser revealed.

A woman can be heard saying that the family is united, but they will never be defeated. A phrase “savior or saboteur?” is then revealed. Is the woman pertaining to the Shelby family and their new enemy?

In the last scene, Tommy’s face is revealed and a man then said that he will remember everything and feel nothing. Then the words “leader or traitor?” appeared.

In the previous season, Tommy’s family believed that he had betrayed them. But as he is set to do everything to help them, will he be the leader that they have doubted?

The show’s release date

BBC Two has yet to reveal the official release date of “Peaky Blinders” Season 4.

But, some expect it to be announced in November. Its IMDb page revealed that it will be shown this 2017. And as the year only has two months before it comes to an end, it will be probably seen next month. For the U.S. viewers, the British television crime drama can also be watched on Netflix.

Fans also have the chance to watch the television show’s third season all over again as it will be repeated on BBC Two starting on November 1. And as they always say, the fourth installment is coming soon.
