There are swirling rumors that Meghan Markle is about to leave the filming of “Suits” Season 7 to move to London. Allegedly, she is now engaged to Prince Harry, and they are about to fix things for the announcement of their engagement.
In fact, the 36-year-old star is said to have decided and finally made her choice. According to the Daily Star Sunday, she “has quit” the legal drama television show and will be officially announcing their engagement this coming Christmas.
Saying goodbye to Rachel Zane
Reportedly, Meghan Markle already told her bosses in the USA Network that she is not going to reprise her role as Rachel Zane in the next “Suits” Season 8.
The Daily Star Sunday’s source even claimed that the actress perfectly knows that she can’t be a princess and an actress at the same time, thus she is quitting her role in the series. “[She] is happy to make this career sacrifice,” the insider said. She is said to be finishing the television show’s filming next month, November, which will be followed by the announcement of their engagement in December.
She is reportedly enjoying her charity work with UNICEF and now ready to make more charity commitments when she becomes Prince Harry’s wife.
A royal engagement and wedding to happen
This isn’t the first time that Meghan Markle is said to be leaving “Suits” Season 7 to move to London with Prince Harry.
To recall, Hollywood Life earlier reported that Markle has been thinking of this move for quite a while. Although she loved to play as Rachel Zane and knew that she owes a lot to the television show, her 33-year-old boyfriend can’t move to Toronto with her.
“So, she’ll have to move eventually if they want to be together,” another source told the Sun.
The insider continued to say that it means a lot for Markle to make this move as this has been the biggest role she has in her career.
Now that the next princess will be on her way to London, a second Royal wedding might be soon happening. In fact, Markle’s father is said to give his blessings to Prince Harry to marry her daughter.
On the other hand, Queen Elizabeth II reportedly permitted Prince William's brother to settle down. A royal insider even claimed that Prince Harry already proposed and Markle said yes.
He allegedly gave her a custom ring that he designed. “It’s gorgeous. It’s very classic and not at all ostentatious, but very expensive!” the informant added. Stay tuned for more updates.
