After news broke that Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend of one year, Tristan Thompson, her ex-husband, NBA star Lamar Odom, released a statement.
Odom and Kardashian have had a tumultuous relationship in the past, dating back to when they got married. After Kardashian took care of Odom when he was recovering from his health scare, the two once again had a not-so-great relationship, because the former Lakers player started drinking and partying again. Eventually, their divorce was finalized in December 2016 and she has since dated Thompson, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Odom appeared on the Wednesday episode of Complex’s “Everyday Struggle” and he revealed that he wishes Kardashian well as he still has love for her. Odom said that he and Kardashian are still cool “from a distance,” People reported.

Kanye West is the brother-in-law of Kardashian as he is married to her sister Kim. Odom said that he and West have drifted apart but still thanked the rapper because he was there for him when the NBA star was in a coma. Odom said his relationship with West deteriorated along with the other relationships he built with the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Us Weekly reported.
Kardashian has not commented on the pregnancy reports yet
Although Kardashian has not yet released an official statement that she and Thompson are expecting, reports and insiders confirmed that she is around four months along.
According to sources who talked to Mirror, they said that Kardashian and Thompson are expecting and they are thrilled.
However, they do not want to announce it to the whole world yet because they want their inner circle to know more about it first. Also, they reportedly did not want to steal the spotlight from Kylie Jenner, 20, who is also reportedly expecting her first child with rapper Travis Scott. Kardashian does not want to lie to her fans so the best thing she is doing now is just keeping quiet about the issue.

Kim just revealed that she and West are expecting their third child via a surrogate mother. Just last year, another granddaughter was welcomed by Kris Jenner as Rob Kardashian and former fiancé Blac Chyna gave birth to their daughter, Dream Renee Kardashian. In total, Kris has six grandchildren and if Khloe, Kylie, and Kim will soon welcome their babies, that brings the number up to nine.
