Harington admitted that he got "very soppy and emotional" as he discussed the eighth season with executive producers D.B. Weiss and David Benioff. However, he also stated that being away from "GoT" would be "liberating" because "there's a lot of things you can't do" while working on the show.
"I'm looking forward to finishing, and eight years is the right amount of time," Kit Harington declared.
"I wouldn't want it to go on any longer than it has." In addition to that, Rose Leslie's fiance shared that he has "other ideas I'd like to look at producing."
It may sound like Harington is actually talking about new TV shows and movies, but some fans believe he might be hinting on taking time off to enjoy being married to the real Ygritte.
