Jenelle Evans shared a photo on her Instagram page on Monday that immediately led to backlash from her many fans and followers. Following last week's episode of "Teen Mom 2," which seemingly showed David Eason freaking out on Evans' kids, Evans took to Instagram to share a photo of her husband teaching her oldest son, eight-year-old Jace, to shoot a gun.

"Thank you so much babe for being there for Jace," Evans wrote in the caption of a photo of her husband laying beside her son. "When all the dads were helping out their kids, [David Eason] stepped right in,"" she continued.

"Wish I knew what I was doing when it comes to BB guns."

Jenelle Evans told her fans and followers last week that she had deactivated her social media pages and would be focusing on her family as she contemplated a possible exit from "Teen Mom 2." However, just days later, Evans returned to Instagram and appeared to have something to prove.

Jenelle Evans' fans weren't happy to see her son with a gun

After the longtime reality star shared her latest Instagram photo, she received tons of backlash from fans who suggested that David Eason was a danger to her children. "I'm happy Jace will be able to protect himself... from your husband," one person wrote in the comments section of the photo. In another comment, a fan said that Jace has repeatedly said that he doesn't want to be around Eason because he's scared of him but Evans keeps forcing it.

A third person said that Eason was "manipulative" and "psychotic" and warned that he would blow "soon."

"I pity those poor kids!" the person added.

Jenelle Evans married David Eason last month

After about two years of dating, Evans and Eason tied the knot during a backyard wedding ceremony at their North Carolina home. As fans will recall, Evans and Eason welcomed their first child, daughter Ensley Jolie Eason, in January of this year after initially announcing the news to their many fans and followers on Instagram.

Throughout the eighth season of "Teen Mom 2," Eason has faced tons of backlash in regard to his treatment of Evans' children, specifically three-year-old Kaiser, who was heard begging for food during last week's show.

To see more of Jenelle Evans and her family, including husband David Eason, tune in to new episodes of "Teen Mom 2" season eight on Monday nights on MTV at 9 p.m. Also starring on the show are Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska, Briana DeJesus, and Kailyn Lowry.
