Game of ThronesSeason 8 is now in production as the cast members gathered in Belfast for their table read. The television show’s scripts of its remaining six episodes there as well, but stars can’t read them all yet as they are digitally sealed.

As the actors and actresses of the show based on George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” novel series are now in the Northern Island, the appearance of one particular cast made every fan excited. Kristofer Hivju was spotted at Belfast airport. With that, this might be a clear indication that Tormund Giantsbane survived the fall of The Wall in the previous season’s final episode.

Hivju’s appearance

Tormund was still on The Wall when the Night King’s (Vladimir 'Furdo' Furdik) dragon blew down the barrier. He was with Beric Dondarrion (David Michael Scott).

Since then, Tormund and Beric’s fates remain a big mystery. Now that Kristofer Hivju arrived in Belfast along with other cast members, this might mean that Tormund and Beric survived the fall and will be seen in “Game of Thrones” Season 8.

The 38-year-old star once claimed that he was not sure of his character’s future on the television show. “I don't know. I honestly don't know,” he told Digital Spy. He went on to say that he somehow didn’t believe that Tormund will die, but the fall seemed to be hard to survive. He also revealed that some people were asking him why HBO didn’t feature Tormund and Beric’s deaths if they really met their demise.

Hivju explained that their deaths were a very horrible way to end the penultimate season, so the network chose to make it a big cliffhanger instead. “But still, I don't know! He may be dead," he added.

Other stars in Belfast

Aside from Kristofer Hivju, a lot of “Game of Thrones” Season 8 major characters were spotted in Belfast.

In fact, he was seen walking next to Ben Crompton, who plays the role of Dolorous Edd. So, this just means that he, too, will be seen in the final installment. Will the Night’s Watch participate in the coming Great War?

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Pilou Asbæk (Euron Greyjoy), Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), and Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) were also seen.

Unfortunately, these stars were not allowed to take selfies with their fans, Buzz Feed reported. But, one lucky fan managed to have a photo with John Bradley (Samwell Tarly). Another one got an autograph from Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen). Bradley and Clarke were later seen out and about with Kit Harington (Jon Snow).
