Turning the expectations down for some fans, the release of "Fast and Furious 9" will not be taking place in 2019. The release was originally set in 2019, but recent reports claim that it has been pushed back to April 10, 2020, this according to Music Times.

Universal has yet to issue a statement to support the claims, but since the news was dispersed from the network's official social media pages, it appears that the reports are legit. While the apparent change in the initial release was not a big deal, what's currently making a fuss in the headlines is the controversial feud between Dwayne Jonhson and Tyrese Gibson.

This is not the first time that The Rock was involved in a feud with his co-stars. Previous reports claimed that he and Vin Diesel clashed during the filming of "Fast And Furious 8." The actors have never commented on the issue, with fans asking if the two can still work together in the upcoming sequel.

In the middle of the controversy, it was later reported that Dwayne and Diesel have already patched things up between them. While this is good news for the "Fast and Furious" fans, the recent reports say that the 45-year-old actor-wrestler is feuding with his other co-star, Tyrese Gibson.

The rapper-actor reportedly slammed The Rock for delaying the release of the movie's ninth installment.

Moreover, Gibson was caught sending out a series of now-deleted tweets, accusing Dwayne of sabotaging the franchise.

Gibson wrote on his personal Twitter account, "We can't let our loyal fans #FastFamily or our loyal fast and furious FANS down on any level from pushing the date.. Didn't you see how HUGE #Fast8 was?

It's because we announced and KEPT our release date bro."
