"Dancing With The Stars" professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy is reportedly looking forward to being voted off the ABC reality dancing competition series. Maks, who is partnered with Vanessa Lachey, is said to want his season to come to an end due to the fact that he can not stand working with Vanessa any longer. Things have gotten so bad between the pair that Maks even refused to dance last week, but returned to dance with Lachey this week during the show's most memorable year week.

Is Maks hoping to be voted off 'DWTS?'

According to Radar Online, Maksim Chmerkovskiy has officially had it with Vanessa Lachey. Maks, who is a fan favorite among the professional dancers, is said to no longer care about winning "Dancing With The Stars" with Vanessa, but instead hopes to be voted off by the viewers so that he can escape having to work with Lachey for multiple hours every day.

Sources claim that Maks and Vanessa "hate" each other and that Chmerkovskiy is "done" with the show. In fact, Maks is allegedly hoping that all of the attention his feud with Lachey is getting will make fans not want to vote for him.

Maks and Vanessa just can't get along

Of course, Maksim Chmerkovskiy has feuded with past "Dancing With The Stars" partners in the past, most memorably Hope Solo. Maks has always been one of "Dancing With The Stars'" most outspoken professionals, and has often taken on the judges with shocking comments about his scores, his partner, and their own ability to judge the show. Maks has kept "DWTS" interesting over the years, but it seems that there is just something about Vanessa Lachey he can't get over.

Maks' job was allegedly in jeopardy

As previously reported, "Dancing With The Stars" insiders claim that Maks and Vanessa can't get along because they both have very dominant personalities. Vanessa was allegedly trying to choreograph the pair's dances, design her own costumes, and even pick the music that they would be dancing to.

Maks, who is said to be a bit of a slave driver when it comes to training his Celebrities partners, reportedly hated the fact that Vanessa was trying to be in charge, and things got so bad that he elected not to perform during the Oct. 2 show.

Things are getting awkward behind the scenes

However, rumors began to fly that "Dancing With The Stars" execs threatened Maksim Chmerkovskiy's job, and told him that if he didn't return to dance with Vanessa Lachey this week, he would be fired from the show.

To make matters more dramatic, Maks' wife, professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd, is partnered with Vanessa's husband, Nick Lachey, and it looks like things could be getting very messy between the two sets of spouses behind the scenes.
