It was reported on Wednesday that the famous "Playboy" founder, Hugh Hefner, was found dead at the age of 66 due to cardiac arrest. Several reports emerged that E.Coli and Septicemia were also among the factors which caused his sudden death.

According to a report from US Magazine, the American icon was laid to rest on Saturday, next to Marilyn Monroe in a private ceremony. He reportedly bought that spot for his burial in the Corridor of Memories Mausoleum back in 1992 and it nearly cost him $75,000.

Crystal Harris, his widow, also breaks silence following his death.

In an emotional statement released by his wife on October 2, she said, "He is in the place he was always certain he wanted to spend eternity."

Heartfelt sentiments

While Harris shared the details of his burial to US Magazine, Hefner's widow further added that there will be no other "Hugh Hefner" in this world. She continued that she joined the world as they mourned the death of her husband. Harris was very thankful for the life of Hefner as he opened his life not only to his family but in the entire world.

She also thanked everyone who comforted their family through prayers and has shared their sentiments to their bereaved family. Meanwhile, Cooper, Hefner's 26-year old son, also talked about the legacy that his father has left them.

He shared, "My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer and a leading voice." Cooper further added that his father has placed his heart right at the "Playboy" brand magazine and his legacy will live on.

Heartbroken amidst husband's passing

In one of her interviews, Harris also shared that she still felt heartbroken as her husband passed away.

According to Independent, Harris was still in disbelief after realizing that her husband is already gone.

On her statement, she also praised her husband for being a pioneer and for being a person who changed the American culture through his "Playboy" magazine. Since Hefner founded "Playboy" in 1953, the American icon brought change to the lives of women who became part of his popular publication.

As Harris mourned over his death, she revealed that Hefner had changed her life a lot and had made her feel loved every single day. Amidst his passing, his widow will always consider him as one of the best heroes of the world. Hefner was reportedly laid to rest three days after his death. TMZ also confirmed that Harris will receive a $5 million trust and a mansion from her late husband.
