Before Harvey Weinstein's scandal could even die down, another person associated with film industry is now facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. According to an LA Times report, a total of 38 women have come forward to narrate their experience with James Toback. Out of these alleged victims, 31 have made accusations on the record.

Another film mogul is facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct

Adrienne LaValley recalled an encounter she had with the "Bugsy" producer back in 2008. The actress said the incident took place in his hotel room, wherein James Toback made advances toward her that made her feel like a prostitute.

She said the director tried to rub himself against her legs before he stood up and performed a disgusting behavior in front of her.

"[I felt like] an utter disappointment to myself, my parents, my friends. And I deserved not to tell anyone," she added.

Starr Rinaldi, who was an aspiring actress when she had an episode with the director, revealed he invited her to his hotel room and apartment several times. She continued the screenwriter would often ask her to read for him to prove her dedication to her craft.

James Toback has denied these accusations and claimed he has no recollection of these women accusing him of sexual misconduct. These allegations against the director have outraged several celebrities, who took to social media to denounce this kind of behavior in the film industry.

Debra Messing reassured the alleged victims of James Toback's sexual misconduct that they will have her support in this battle. "The damn has broke. Women will no longer be silent. We have your back and will amplify," she wrote.

Jaime Lyn Beatty also used the platform to share a "disgusting" experience she had with the producer when she was 16 years old.

The actress recounted the time she had a dinner with James Toback, who reportedly asked her invasive questions.

The award-winning screenwriter even warned that she would never make it in the film industry if she would not be honest. "He mocked my modesty," Jaime Lyn Beatty said. "I fought back politely. For two hours I sat at that table trying to navigate it all."

Rose McGowan, who claimed she was raped by Harvey Weinstein, also denounced James Toback over sexual harassment claims.

Since James Toback was exposed to his alleged sexual misconducts, about 200 women have reached out to the publication to discuss the same concern.
