Ayesha Curry is not ruling out the possibility of joining "Dancing with the Stars" in the future! In fact, the mother of two revealed that she has been offered to take part in the show as a celebrity contestant.

"I have been approached to do it and I chicken out every single time," she told Entertainment Tonight. "I’ve got two left feet."

Although she has turned down the offer to take part in the dance program, Ayesha Curry thought she might find the courage to do it in the future. “The only motivator for me, in my mind, is that I would get in phenomenal shape and that’d be a great perk," she explained.

Stephen Curry urged to join 'Dancing with the Stars'

She also revealed that her mother-in-law has been pushing Stephen Curry to appear on "Dancing With The Stars" as one of the celebrity contestants. Ayesha, however, is unsure if her husband will take the bait and make up his mind to join the dance competition.

Stephen Curry won't be the first basketball pro to compete for the Mirror Ball if he agrees to join the program. It is worth noting that the ABC show picked Clyde Drexler to join its fourth season, where the retired NBA swingman was placed eighth with Elena Grinenko.

Rick Fox, on the other hand, ended up in sixth place with his partner, Cheryl Burke, on "Dancing with the Stars" Season 11.

Unlike the first two NBA players, Metta World Peace was the first to be eliminated from the competition with Peta Murgatroyd during Season 13.

Meanwhile, Derek Fisher became the fourth NBA player to join the program for its new season. The former Lakers hotshot was paired with Sharna Burgess and they were the third couple to be eliminated from the dance competition this week.

Several other athletes have also graced the ballroom since "Dancing with the Stars" premiered in 2005. Among those who have joined the competition include Evander Holyfield (Season 1), Stacy Keibler (Season 2), Jerry Rice (Season 2), Emmit Smith (Season 3), Laila Ali (Season 4), Apolo Anton Ohno (Season 4) among others.

Inside Ayesha and Stephen Curry's marriage

Meanwhile, Ayesha Curry currently hosts her own show, titled "Ayesha Homemade," where Stephen and their children often appear. The couple were childhood lovers before they tied the knot in 2011. A year later, the two were blessed with their first daughter, Riley Elizabeth, followed by another baby girl, Ryan Carson, in 2015.

Ayesha Curry is a known advocate of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry, that campaigns to end child hunger in the United States. Stephen Curry campaigns to end malaria by making monetary donations to the United Nations Foundation.
