Star Wars: The Last Jedi” has got fans so excited and everyone is waiting for the release of the second installment in the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy. Though there is still time for the next trailer to be released, updates have been streaming in. If the latest rumor is anything to go by, Darth Vader might make an appearance in the upcoming film. The popular villain who kick-started his ride with the original trilogy is not yet done and will very likely be present in a few scenes in the upcoming film. Not only this, the Resistance fleet will also be seen with a huge ship of its own that has been named after Raddus.

Leia and Holdo talk about the Sith Lord

The rumors about Darth Vader appearing in “The Last Jedi” have been coming from Mike Zeroh, a well-known YouTuber on “Star Wars.” In his latest video, he says that the badass baddie will have a presence in the next film but he will not appear in physical form. He will feature in the conversation between Holdo and Leia where Holdo mocks Leia, telling her about her father and how he ruined her son. The mocking does not end up well and the two part ways, with the Resistance getting divided into two teams. Another time that Darth Vader will be mentioned is when Luke Skywalker tells Rey about him after she asks him and a minor mention is when Snoke refers to him while talking to Kylo Ren.

Raddus comes to life in the form of a massive ship

It is not just Darth Vader who will have a presence in the upcoming movie. The dead Admiral Raddus will be resurrected through a huge ship in the Resistance fleet. It will be double the size of the Mon Calamari ships that one saw in the “Return of the Jedi.” As for Raddus, he laid down his life in the Battle of Scarif to let his group know what victory feels like and it only makes sense for the rebels to name their largest ship after the hero of the first rebellion.

New artwork reveals look of characters

Alongside the rumors of Darth Vader and Raddus, there is some fresh news about the main characters of the film. Recently, Lucasfilm released the artwork of Brian Rood which shows the characters from “The Last Jedi” in realistic detail. Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker appear with a stoic look in their regal avatar while Rey seems to be training with the lightsaber. Poe has the appearance of a war strategist which is visible on his face while Finn is all geared up. As for Kylo Ren, he appears sans his helmet, with the scar clearly visible.
