It looks the hearsays are true as a new toy at the recent Force Friday II proved it is true. The Jedi Master’s Funko Pop toy figure is actually wearing a necklace with a red crystal pendant.

The red kyber crystal’s ability

According to Daily Express, this red kyber crystal might play a major role in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi storyline.

In fact, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) might have the interest to obtain it from his uncle’s possession as part of his Dark Side artifact collection.

To recall, he even has Darth Vader’s iconic helmet in “The Force Awakens.”

The known “Star Wars” theorist Mike Zeroh even called the gems as the Shards of the Past. Thus, it might have a connection with Force back visions just like when Rey (Daisy Ridley) held Luke Skywalker’s blue lightsaber in the previous movie.

The unrevealed backstory

Three months to go before “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” hits the big screen, fans are still waiting to see its new trailer.

Fortunately, Hungarian film magazine called Cinemania Mozimánia unveiled Luke Skywalker’s new snap wearing his darkest outfit so far. In fact, Mark Hamill himself shared this photo on his Twitter page.

Luke is finally backed in the battle between the Dark and the Light Side.

He, too, is set to train Rey to bring out the Jedi in her.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Hamill talked about his character that might explain why he is now wearing a pair of dark robes.

“Luke changed I think,” the 65-year-old star said. In comparison to the other characters in the original trilogy, he has changed a lot from a local farm boy to the Jedi master that he is now.

He also revealed that the unrevealed history between “Return of the Jedi” and “Force Awakens” has made him fascinated. As it contained decades of unknown occurrences, he now wonders how it will be handled in the upcoming movie.

This made him question the film director Rian Johnson about his character’s backstory.

He explained that it is quite ambiguous as fans now know his whereabouts and what keeps him busy, but it there is still a lot of unanswered questions. “So I did do a back story myself,” he revealed. Surprisingly, he disclosed that the new trilogy is not about Luke anymore, thus his backstory is not that important. He just wanted to understand it better for himself. But, when Johnson told him the real twist, he teased that it made him stunned.
