According to an Instagram post by Gomez earlier this week, her friend and fellow actress Francia Raisa donated her kidney to the "bad lair" singer.

Gomez thanked 29-year-old Raisa in her post, saying that she gave her “the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney.” The post, which received 6.9 million likes, also included a photograph of Selena and Francia holding hands while lying next to each other in a hospital room.
