Prince Harry celebrated his 33rd birthday in advance along with his girlfriend Meghan Markle over the weekend. According to E! News, the "Suits" actress won't be able to make it on her beau's special day on September 15 due to work commitments. Hence, the couple have decided to spend some time together to have an early celebration in London.

"Harry doesn’t like to make a fuss of birthdays so he liked that it was just the two of them," a source told the publication.

"Sometimes it doesn’t have to be a huge thing with a group of friends."

Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's long distance relationship

After the low-key celebration, the Hollywood actress had to fly back to Toronto for the production of "Suits" season 7 on Monday.

Meghan Markle previously admitted that she finds it difficult to be away from Prince Harry after spending some time with him.

But despite the distance and busy schedule, the Brit royal makes it a point to visit his girlfriend in Canada. "Saying goodbye, even if it’s literally for less than two weeks was difficult, but it won’t be long before he comes to Toronto," the insider added.

Prince Harry is scheduled to visit Toronto for the 2017 Invictus Games happening from September 23 to 30. The parasport is an annual event created by the Brit royal in 2014.

Further reports suggested that the couple is expected to make their first official public appearance at the 2017 Invictus Games. A source, however, clarified that Prince Harry won't be staying at Meghan Markle's place during his stay in the Canadian city.

"Harry will spend a day with Meghan before beginning Invictus-related engagements on September 22. Naturally Meghan will be present for some of the games and you’ll no doubt see them together in the stands," the source added.

Since Meghan Markle's slate is packed with filming schedules, the 36-year-old actress is not expected to tag alongside all of Prince Harry's activities in Toronto.

Actress gushes about her royal beau for the first time

Meanwhile, the "Fringe" alum opened up for the first time about her relationship with the Brit royal in a Vanity Fair interview. She even professed her love for her beau in the wake of engagement rumors.

The statement has left the public to question her intention for speaking up about their romance a year after they confirmed dating rumors.

Some are accusing the actress of milking for publicity, which was immediately shut down by an affiliate.

“She hasn’t spoken for a year and all she did say was that she was in a relationship and in love," a source told Express. "Of course Harry knew all about it, the palace okayed it.”
