The announcement surfaced about a month ago and she has been somewhat quiet on her social media accounts since she shared the news. De Lesseps revealed that she was devasted about the split, and she was spotted getting on a plane to Switzerland, where she spent some time alone. When she came back to the United States, she sat down with Andy Cohen where she talked about what went wrong.
Even though Luann had been thrilled about her relationship and marriage on "The Real Housewives of New York," there were some major red flags that she was avoiding.
She couldn't recognize them as well as her co-stars so she decided to go through with the marriage. However, de Lesseps would soon grow tired and frustrated with all of the gossip reports claiming that he was cheating. When she learned about him hanging out with an ex-girlfriend from the press, she decided to call it quits. But according to a new report, Luann de Lesseps is still in touch with her estranged husband.
Texting and checking in
A source has come forward saying that the two still keep in touch. Apparently, they text one another just to make sure things are going well. Perhaps they are trying to remain friends and stay civil with one another, despite going through a divorce.
"They text and talk to each other, but it’s not super in depth," a source has revealed about Luann de Lesseps and her soon-to-be ex-husband, adding, "They’re just checking in."
One has to wonder what they are talking about, as Thomas was spotted with Missy shortly after filing the divorce.
Missy is one of his ex-girlfriends and she was spotted flirting with him on "The Real Housewives of New York." She thought she was dating him when he hooked up with Luann. Since they filed for divorce, Thomas has been hanging out with Missy quite a bit.
Moving on quickly
Many would argue that perhaps Thomas is moving on rather quickly.
He wants to find someone that's perfect for him. Luann de Lesseps learned that his perfect woman is someone, who allows him to hang out with his ex-girlfriends as well. It is possible that Luann wants to keep a door open for him, but it doesn't sound like she trusts him at the moment. He likes to date several women at once, which may be why Missy doesn't mind that they stay in touch.
