The devastation that Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma brought about has many people looking for ways to help. The Red Cross and other agencies have received an unbelievable amount of donations, but there will be an ongoing need for those who were hit hard by the natural disasters.

On Tuesday, September 12, there will be a television special that will help raise money for those in need. "Hand In Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief" will air at 9/8c on all of the major networks, as well as some cable networks including MTV, Bravo, HBO, BET, and CMT.

As if that's not enough, the telethon will also be streaming on some social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

100% of the money raised during the telethon will help the hurricane victims. The money will go to a variety of different charities, including the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, Feeding Texas, Direct Relief, and the Rebuild Texas Fund.

The telethon will have a number of celebrities on hand to answer the phone calls that are coming in for donations. There will be several live performances during the telethon, as well as a "grand finale" with George Straight and some special guests performing at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX.
