Beyonce has her hands full at the moment. After the success of her “Lemonade” album, the birth of her twins Sir Carter and Rumi Carter has been occupying her time. 36-year-old is currently busy being a mother of three and focusing on her family. However, with the current state of the country, it looks Beyonce just can’t ignore her fellow Americans; especially her hometown of Houston, Texas.

Hurricane Harvey has struck Texas, and many are left devastated. Seeing her fellow Houstonians in such a state, the “Single Ladies” singer couldn’t help but head down and help.

Beyonce and Blue goes to Texas

According to a report, Beyonce came to St. John’s Church in Houston on Friday together with her first child, Blue Ivy. The mother and daughter came down to Texas to visit the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

During her visit to the Church, Beyonce took on the stage and talked to the crowd. The “Formation” singer felt home as she told the people her beginning in Houston. Beyonce recalled her time in St John’s and shared how the church has been a big part of her life. She sang her first solo number there, and the seat her daughter Blue was sitting at was the same seat she used to occupy when she was young. The 36-year-old also thanked the people for their immense support through the years and declared that everybody in the crowd is her family.

She then thanked God for all the blessings and keeping everybody safe.

“Y'all are my family,” the singer said to the crowd, “I thank God that you're safe, your children are safe.”

Tina Knowles and Michelle Williams lends a hand

Before the Carters arrive at Houston, Tina Knowles arrived and already started to help. Knowles was accompanied by former Destiny’s Child band member, Michelle Williams and both served lunch to flood victims.

According to the news, the two served food to 400 victims while donning an apron with Beyonce’s group, BeyGOOD.

The two were spotted by several people who said that the two were greeting everybody and making them feel better. They are even said to encourage the victims to stay strong in these hard times and rebuild the city to its former glory.

The reports also revealed that the “Hold Up” singer has been helping for a while now and her donations have made a lot of difference already. Through her donation, the most impacted victims have been receiving help. The singer has been a generous patron to the Hurricane Harvey victims, most especially to the people of her hometown in Houston, Texas.
