Discovery Channel reality star Ami Brown continues her battle against stage 4 lung cancer. The 53-year-old reality star divulged that she currently undergoes radiation and chemotherapy at UCLA Medical Center.

Now, new reports claim that the Brown matriarch is done with chemotherapy as her family prepares for the upcoming “Alaskan Bush People” Season 8. Rumors are rife that the clan will start filming for a brand new installment in the coming weeks.

Ami’s cancer is all too real

The Hollywood Gossip reported that the mom of seven has already finished her chemotherapy treatment for now and she is getting ready for her brood’s next step: filming for another season of the “Alaskan Bush People” series.

Speculations have it that the Brown family is currently in Colorado to start filming for the next installment.

The news came a week after Ami Brown was, reportedly, hospitalized again. Billy Brown’s wife shocked fans when she first announced that she had been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer two months ago.

The reality star divulged in an interview with People how her fatal disease ravaged her body. In fact, Ami previously shared that she already lost 39 pounds off her already small frame.

Despite this, the wife of Billy Brown revealed that she plans to fight for her life. "I realized early into this that it’s very easy to want to give up and just die. And on the pessimist side, it could be my last days.

But I have the will to fight," Ami Brown said.

Did Ami’s cancer treatments fail?

Meanwhile, Christian Post claimed that there is no more chance for Ami Brown to get better after her radiation and chemotherapy treatments failed. As a matter of fact, the Brown matriarch was only given a three percent chance of survival.

Radar Online previously reported that Billy and her children currently surround Ami as she can no longer get out of bed.

The Brown family have also said that they will not give up on their matriarch, whatever happens.

“Bill and the kids are very loving and supportive. They’re all worried. I tell them, don’t worry. Please don’t worry. Be happy … keep the faith,” Ami Brown previously revealed to People. “Good or bad, it’s God’s will and we’ll walk that road,” the “Alaskan Bush People” star went on.

Discovery Channel has yet to confirm if “Alaskan Bush People” Season 8 is still happening or not. Therefore, avid followers of the popular reality series should take these speculations lightly until everything is proven true and correct. Stay tuned for more news and updates!
