Marvel is expected to scrap off “Inhumans.” The fate may not be the same for its “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” The production giant confirmed with Entertainment Weekly, that “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” is going to make a comeback in the form of its fifth season. The latest installment will witness the return of actor, Nick Blood. He will reprise his role as Lance Hunter. Adrienne Palicki will also be seen joining him.

The speculated release date of the show

According to a report by Den Of Geek, a specific date for its release is not known yet. But rumors suggest that it might be a week after “Inhumans” is done with its 8-episodes-long season.

From this, it is safe to assume that “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” Season 5 will premiere on Friday, November 24, 2017. Entertainment Weekly reported ABC President, Channing Dungey as saying confirming this news. At the Television Critics Association, Dungey said that the show is “going to come on right after Inhumans.” He added by saying that as soon as the eight episodes of “Inhumans” will be done, “SHIELD will begin.” Since “Inhumans” is going to debut on 29 September, the November 24 date appears plausible.

Season 5 will have 22-episodes

Dungey also said that the fifth season of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” will comprise of 22 episodes. ABC has been making a lot of changes to its time slots lately. “Inhumans” was originally showcased on Tuesdays every week.

But this time around, ABC has moved its streaming day to Fridays for some reason. They made changes to “Once Upon A Time” as well. This is being done because they actually plan on scrapping “Inhumans” off. Additional information regarding this matter is expected to make its way online soon.

According to a report by Deadline, Jeff Ward is also going to be seen playing an important role on the upcoming season of the show.

It is not known which character will he be playing but, he will be a key character at influencing the future of the show. Jeff Ward initially shot to fame for playing the role of Charles Manson in “Lost Girls” by Lifetime Manson. No other information apart from this is available as yet. The trailer of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” season 5 is expected to debut next month.

ABC’s “Once Upon A Time” on the other hand, is going to witness Meegan Warner to play the role of “Rapunzel” in the show. She replaces Alexandra Metz who had been playing the character since “Once Upon A Time’s” third season.
