Season 2 to premiere a few days before Halloween

Season 2 of the widely acclaimed show "Stranger Things" is set to release on Netflix on Oct 27, 2017, and will see the addition of many new characters. One of them is Bob Newby (Sean Austin) who plays a nerdy Radioshack employee who is dating Joyce Byers. According to Levy, Sean Austin plays a substantially bigger part in the show than Barb.

While the character of Barb won't be back this season, the creators have confirmed that there will be justice for Barb! The second season of Stranger Things is said to be set one year in the future where the children are all dealing with the incidents of season 1 in their own way. Will is dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder from his time in the Upside Down and all the other residents of Hawkins are slowly getting back to their normal routines.

The creators have hinted that the children will face a different kind of horror in Season 2 of the show. The show's trailer also hints at the return of Elven who disappeared in the end of Season 1 of the show.

Though the show was widely acclaimed and received eighteen nominations for the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards, one can only wonder if the creators of the show will be able to recreate the atmosphere of mystery, horror and the supernatural that kept all the fans watching with bated breath.
