It’s only been a little more than a month since the 7 season smash teen drama, #"Pretty Little Liars" came to an end but that hasn’t slowed down #Shay Mitchell who played fan favorite Emily Fields. Mitchell just penned an incredible “girl power” deal which will keep her in the Warner Bros. family. Mitchell formed her very own Production company, Amore & Vita Productions, which will develop ideas for new scripted and non-scripted programming for broadcast, cable, streaming, and digital platforms for Warner Bros. Television. Recently, Mitchell recently signed on with Royal Caribbean as their new “Adventurist.” The hope is that she will inspire the next generation of travelers which no doubt, she will.

Just Peachy

But wait there’s more, the agreement also includes a delicious talent holding deal for Mitchell in which Mitchel is set to be a series regular for Lifetime’s latest scripted new series “You,” which is based on the Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name. Mitchell will play Peach Salinger, who is a complete 180 from the sweet Emily Fields we’ve all come to know and love. Salinger who comes from money is a controlling diva who would eat Emily for dinner.

Lifetime is aggressively making that push into scripted tv series and has recently announced that it has ordered "Orange Is The New Black" creator, Jenji Kohan's next series, American Princess, also straight to series.

Play with Shay

In typical “play with shay” manner, Mitchell made the announcement to her 3.65M fans on Twitter by tweeting a pair of emojis and a link to the original, Deadline Hollywood article.

“You” is a psychological thriller about a seemingly normal guy, Joe and I’m not talking “just call me Joe” of the romantic comedy, "You’ve Got Mail." I’m talking Joe, a full on psychotic, stalker.

“You” is already creating quite the buzz and expected to be a huge hit being ordered straight to series. Also slated to star with Mitchell is Gossip Girl star, Penn Badgley.

Fans are still hoping for Mitchell and Pieterse who played Alison DiLaurentis, Mitchell's love interest on PLL, to get their own spinoff but that is probably on the backburner (if at all) for now at least while Mitchell shows off her acting muscles in her new role.

Mitchell has a huge fanbase who are rooting for her and will support her in anything she does which is sure to contribute to "You's" success.

You” is set to hit your living room on Lifetime sometime in 2018
