"Game of Thrones" Season 7 Episode 4 may be the shortest episode so far with only 50 minutes runtime, but based on the preview teaser we can expect this episode to be packed with action. However, in this article, we are going to present you with an idea how prophecy might be fulfilled, so let's dive right into it.

The prophecy
For you to understand this prophecy let's first dive deep into the book territory and the famous prophecy that the mysterious woman gave to Daenerys in the "Clash of Kings" -- the second book of "A Song of Ice and Fire" series.
Daenerys Targaryen first met the woman with a wooden mask when she arrived in Qarth. Her name is Quaithe, and she is the shadowbinder from Asshai. There are many prophecies that Quaithe told Daenerys, but in this article, we are going to focus on the first one and the most famous of all, because we believe it might be fulfilled in the next "Game of Thrones" episode.
When Dany asked Quaithe about her future, the shadowbinder replies with a prophecy: "To go north, you must journey south, to reach the west you must go east. To go forward, you must go back and to touch the light, you must pass beneath the shadow."
Daenerys will find the truth
Now let's break down each section of this prophecy. According to the Reddit user Novastrider the first part about going south is apparently referring to Daenerys' journey to the southern city of Qarth, while the second part clearly means that in order to go to Westeros, Dany must pick her army in the east, which she did.
As for the next part: "To go forward you must go back," Novastrider believes this represents her journey all the way back to the place where she was born -- Dragonstone.
Before jumping into the last part of the prophecy, let's talk about the scene that will definitely happen in the next "Game of Thrones" episode. Judging by the preview teaser as well as the promotional pictures we know that Jon Snow and Daenerys will be going to the cave where all the dragonglass is.
The place is clearly in the shadows and it stands the reason to believe that this place is where Daenerys will finally realize what her real purpose is. "And to touch the light, you must pass beneath the shadow" the prophecy stated and this cave seems like a place Quaithe was talking about. In this scene, we are going to see Daenerys finally realizing the threat of the White Walkers, but we are going to have to wait and see how will she realize that.
