“The Originals” Season 5 will be the final bow of “The Vampire Diaries” spin-off series after it recently concluded eight seasons. Fans can expect to see a lot of twists and turns of events that might lead to the death of a major character.

Although a crossover is now happening with Caroline Forbes’ (Candice King) coming, it looks like fans will be saddened to witness Hayley Marshall’s (Phoebe Tonkin) death. Allegedly, a new producer shared a photo of the storyboard inside the writers’ room on Instagram. It revealed some things about the series along with the shocking revelation.

Hayley’s death

“The Originals” Season 5’s storylines can be seen written on a white board in what seemed to be a story conference.

In the scrawl, it can be seen that in the coming sixth episode, Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) will be incapable of rescuing Hayley from some unrevealed event that will cause her death. Allegedly, he will be hopelessly watching her burning alive and he will have no idea if she is going to survive. Later, in the seventh episode, he will learn that the mother of his child died.

Of course, fans quickly reacted to the revelation and expressed their anger on Twitter. Fans were even trying to catch the television show’s creator Julie Plec and its writers’ attention not to kill off Phoebe Tonkin’s character.

As things started going out of their control, the producer just deleted the image. Unfortunately, it quickly went viral and is now circulating over the internet.

Klaus and Caroline

However, it looks like Hayley’s death in “The Originals” Season 5 is intentionally part of the plan to make way for Klaus and Caroline’s romance.

It is known that the two have feelings for each other, and this might be the perfect time for them to start their relationship.

However, in a report by Christian Today, it was noted that Caroline will just have a friendly relationship with Klaus.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Julie Plec revealed that Caroline will come to “The Vampire Diaries” spin-off series to help Klaus in his life’s darkest hour. As the anti-hero is now separated from his siblings, he feels like he has never been this alone before.

To recall, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) were left with no choice but to leave Klaus behind to save Hope from The Hollow. Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) then cursed the family, so they couldn’t be with each other again or they will die. As he is now alone and lonely, he will be seeking comfort from Caroline.
