Now that "The Bachelorette" has ended, rachel lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are doing some things they have waited three months to do. Over the weekend, the couple celebrated their engagement party in Rachel's hometown in Dallas, Texas.

Engagement party

The 32-year-old attorney, the 37-year-old chiropractor and their guests are said to have partied it up at Stirr restaurant and bar in Dallas. It was also reported that things got wild as they danced to the latest hits. Even though about 30 family members and friends were present, Rachel couldn't keep her hands off of Bryan, and he couldn't keep his hands off of her.

According to Hollywood Life, both of them posted photos of the party on Instagram. The couple described their relationship and love for each other as surreal. They say it is like nothing they have ever experienced before. Rachel and Bryan have been engaged for three months now, but it was only after the finale on August 7 that they could go public with their engagement.

The future

Most alums from "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" stay in Los Angeles when their shows end, and Rachel and Bryan said that might be a possibility for them. They could live there, in Dallas or Miami. They will mutually agree where they will settle down.

As for marriage, they have decided on a winter wedding in December 2018 or in January 2019.

Rachel wants four children, and Bryan wants three. Rachel says she is living her best life with Bryan because he is her forever. Bryan seems to be living his best life with Rachel especially after gushing over her and posting on Instagram that Rachel is his world.

Interracial relationship

While Season 13 of "The Bachelorette" was airing, Rachel admitted that race did not matter to her because she has dated outside of her race.

Eric Bigger was the second runner-up and the only black man to make it to the finals. Rachel's family is used to having a white man in the family because of her older sister, Constance Cherones, is married to a white man. They have a son and a newborn daughter. She is the one who grilled all three of her sister's suitors when they made the hometown visits.

Rachel says that was because her sister is protective of her.

Rachel has received negative comments for not choosing Peter Kraus, but she explained to Peter that she went on "The Bachelorette" for a husband and not to get a boyfriend. Peter was not at the point where he was ready to propose. Therefore, Rachel said she went with her gut feelings, and she and Bryan are very happy.
