Elon Musk, the man behind Tesla and The Boring Company and his girlfriend of one year Amber Heard have gone separate ways. Their break up shocked fans of the actress as the former couple was seen spending happy time with the Musk kids just recently. But the billionaire is not closing the door between them.
Elon Musk and Amber Heard split after one year of dating
Musk and Heard’s relationship was confirmed just a few months ago after Musk was spotted with a lipstick mark on his face while on a date with the “Aquaman” star. The ex-lovers have been dating for a year, and Musk’s children have accepted Heard as the woman in their father’s life.
Heard was reportedly thinking of a future with the businessman.
Heard’s relationship with the Space X CEO started not long after her turbulent divorce from the “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” star Johnny Depp. Their break up was reportedly a mutual decision.
Elon Musk confirmed the sad ending to their romance when he commented on the actress’ Instagram post as reported by Just Jared. He revealed that the real reason behind the spilt was their erratic work schedule. Musk is into various business ventures while Heard is busy filming for “Aquaman.” But the space travel investor said that he is not closing his door to Amber Heard because they might reunite in the future. But for the meantime, they have to focus on their individual lives.
He also wrote that they still love each other and will remain friends.
According to Enstars, there were reports saying that Talulah Riley’s ex-husband initiated the split because there is was something in the 31-year-old actress’ behavior that did not go well with the father of six.
The split between Musk and Heard shocked her fans
The separation shocked their supporters because only a few days ago, they were spotted together in Byron attending the Splendor in the Grass music festival. Moreover, they were also seen around the Gold Coast and northern NSW while the actress was in Australia filming.
The ex-couple was linked in 2016, but their relationship just faded because Heard was still married to Johnny Depp at that time.
Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp citing that the actor physically assaulted her. Theirs was the most controversial and highly-publicized divorce last year. The divorce settlement amounted to $7 million which Amber Heard has donated to two charitable institutions.
