Taylor Swift's return from her hiatus seems to be as controversial as ever as her new album, "Reputation," has been ruffling a few feathers since it was announced. The first single from the album is entitled "Look What You Made Me Do" and is supposedly a diss track aimed at Taylor's enemies - Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West. As if it's not controversial enough, a new block in the road has been uncovered, with Beyonce's fans accusing Taylor of copying the "Lemonade" video concept. According to Beyonce's fans, the whole contemporary gothic video concept paired with fishnet and all-black outfits are screaming "copycat."

While this issue remains unresolved, another interesting character enters the web of Taylor Swift's controversial album, no other than the "Super Bass" singer herself, Nicki Minaj.

According to Billboard, minutes after Swift released her new song from "Reputation," Minaj tweeted "Be humble." Although it might simply be taken as a randompost of Nicki, some fans are thinking that it may be a subtle shade for Taylor.

An ally of Katy Perry

One of the reasons why Nicki Minaj's "Be humble" tweet may have taken as a subtle diss at Taylor Swift is because of the fact that the former is currently considered an ally of Katy Perry. In fact, Perry has a new song, "Swish Swish," that was considered to be a response to "Bad Blood."

Just like "Bad Blood," "Swish Swish" has a lot of cameos from different celebrities and Nicki Minaj is one of them. Because of that, fans can't help but think that Minaj's tweet about being humble may have something to do with Taylor's grand entrance after her long hiatus.

According to Billboard, the cryptic tweet was posted in the wee hours of the morning, roughly an hour after Swift released her new song, "Look What You Made Me Do."

Not the first time

Basically, this brewing feud between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj is not the first time. At the height of the 2015 Video Music Awards (VMAs), Nicki Minaj tweeted about videos celebrating women's slim bodies as a sure way to get nominated in the awards cermeony.

Apparently, Swift felt that the tweet was aimed at her and she responded by saying that she has done nothing but love and support Minaj. Eventually, their feud ended in front of a live audience when they opened the main event with a duet. As of writing, reps for Swift and Minaj have yet to comment on the extremely complicated issues.
